Virginia Schwarzenbach is our administrative and computer software specialist. This is supported
by her expertise in database management and other computer software programs.
She has a full understanding of the requirements for internal office performance
efficiencies. Her role at WLR is focused on office operations, and project management.
She is largely responsible for the development of information for publications
and electronic transmission. She provides the assurance that projects are completed
with quality, and on schedule.
Due to her past training as a service assurance agent and administrative
assistant at FedEx, she keenly understands business administration and success
in service to clients. This makes Virginia's position of Membership Director for
NAFDMA (www.nafdma.com), a White Loaf Ridge client, and "Charlie's right hand" a natural fit.
Kelly Fuerstenberg is White Loaf Ridge Management Company's publications director. She creates
the company's marketing pieces and ensures that all company publications are up
to standard. In her role as publications director, she serves as communications
director for the North American Farmers' Direct Marketing Association (NAFDMA),
one of WLR's clients. She writes and edits The Market Connection, the association's
bimonthly newsletter, as well as press releases, conference programs, the association's
annual yearbook, and other printed material. She also writes copy for the WLR
and NAFDMA Web sites.
In addition, Kelly owns Red Pen Publishing, which produces The Seasonal
Marketer, a national newsletter targeted at farm direct marketers. Kelly has been
field editor of New England Farmer, and she is currently president of the Northeast
Farm Communicators Association. She previously worked for a public relations agency
as an account executive for agricultural clients. While earning a master's degree
in agricultural journalism from the University of Wisconsin, she worked for the
university's Agricultural Press Service and wrote many press releases on a wide
variety of agricultural topics.
Marcia Touchette provides support in the office as needed. Marcia maintains an understanding
of the week-to-week activities of WLR and can plug herself into needed situations
to provide clerical services. She is called upon to assist with mass mailing
and other paperwork functions. She can also be seen at Conference and other Functions
as general support staff.
